Sector of work with press is established to make relations with Mass Media and provide complete information on activity of Ministry.
Sector of work with press carries out significant and responsible work such as providing the public with information on activity of Ministry of Ecology and Natural Recourses and its subordinate bodies. The object is to provide the public with true ecological information, ecological enlightenment and proper organization of ecological propaganda.
To respond the questions of representatives of Mass Media on protection of environment, protection of forests, ecological condition of our republic, development of biological variety, extension of water recourse and organization of interviews with specialists, officers in charge are the main direction of activity of the sector.
The Sector regularly places information provided by Ministry agencies in web site of Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (www.eco.gov.az) in the form press release and this makes easy for press workers and other interested people to get such information, and provides operative information.
